Image nabs 'Division III: Football's Finest'

Image Entertainment has acquired all United States privileges to football comedy "Division III: Football's Finest," starring Andy Dick, Adam Carolla, Marshall Prepare, Bryan Callen and Sally Kirkland. Image chief purchases officer Bill Bromiley made the announcement Tuesday after closing the offer in the Toronto Film Festival. Image intends to release "Division III" around the college circuit this fall beginning by having an October date in Michigan. Dick and Prepare, who also directed, is going to be touring using the film. Story follows a football team within the cheapest division within the NCAA that finds itself at the disposal of its worst nightmare -- an excessively-aggressive, redneck coach -- after their coach suddenly dies.
